Kela soon discovered that every community that fit that description was called a Cowart Community. That was long before she knew Jim Cowart or became affliliated with his organizations. So, yes indeed, the Campbell's did buy their first home in a Jim Cowart Community and yes she loved the lifestyle, value and eventually the great resale.

Kela began her real estate career anew in Georgia by joining Buckhead Brokers, quickly becoming one of their “Million Dollar” agents. Kela was then asked to join the sales staff at Jim Cowart, Inc., so her career in new home sales began, working as an on-site agent in over ten Jim Cowart Communities and working with over 45 builders. After being lead agent at one of the most successful new home neighborhoods in Atlanta, Kela retired from selling high-volume new home communities. Then, switching to management, went to work for Jim Cowart Residential LLC, as Director of Marketing and Vice President of Builder Services.

In 2007, Kela joined with George Berkow and Jim Cowart once again to form Cowart Berkow Campbell Residential LLC with the mission to market superior new home communities and offer builders and developers alike their experience and expertise in selling and marketing new Homes. Kela says, “We respect and admire each other, the talent we all bring to the table, and we hold honor and loyalty as our most treasured qualities anyone can have in business as well as their personal life.”

Kela and her husband Ron, have been married for 29 years. Ron is a real estate Broker associated with Cowart Berkow Campbell, LLC. They have two sons who are graduates of Marist School in Dunwoody, Mercer University in Macon and the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis Maryland.They have two grandchildren.
