eorge Berkow -George has been associated with the Jim Cowart Companies for over 20 years. George's early beginnings start with his background in the legal field graduating from Wake Forest University and California Western School of Law.

George is the Managing Member of Cowart/ Berkow Investments, LLC but has also worn many hats throughout his career with the Jim Cowart Companies. A specialist in the acquisition of undeveloped land for conversion to single family neighborhoods has been one of his talents and that continues today with developments in North Fulton, Forsyth and Cherokee Counties. As Managing Member of Cowart/Berkow Investments, LLC, George also specializes in commercial development. His talent to assemble and implement Commercial Developments is unparelled.

Some notable landmarks include The Georgian Bank Building on Peachtree Road in Buckhead, the current location of it's Corporate Office; Royal 400, the prominent business corridor in Alpharetta; and the Herman Miller site in Roswell that is now home to such diverse businesses as UPS, Nalley Lexus, Hennessy Porshe and WalMart, just to name a few. George has successfully realized over $100 Million in development since 1986. His companies also specialize in investing in real estate and property throughout the southeast region; always realizing the potential for land development for the future.

Current investment properties located throughout Georgia include the St. Regis Hotel and Mercedes Benz, both of Buckhead. His background also includes originally forming and managing the Marketing Company for Jim Cowart, Inc., so it is not surprising his interest and involvement in forming Cowart Berkow Campbell Residential LLC, a new company to offer services to builders and developers through the Atlanta area. George says, “Personalized service and offering excellence in everything we do is the key to marketing and selling new home communities”, a motto he has believed in throughout his career.

George is devoted to his family and community. George and his wife have been married for 38 years and have lived in the same home for the past 28 years. Oh, by the way, it is in a Jim Cowart Neighborhood! George has three children, all graduates of the Marist School in Dunwoody and now three grandchildren, also attending Marist. His eldest son, Ned, is employed at Cowart/Berkow Investments LLC. in the capacity of Project Manager, something George is quite proud of indeed. The tradition continues!
